    Anyone see this over the weekend? Seems there is something in the works to compete with Blackberry Keyboard phones:

    The author of the article is a big Blackberry guy but mentions a rumor of something is in the works. I was curious. Maybe others who follow Crackberry have heard some rumblings.

    Not sure what happened but the link I posted was an article I read over the weekend in the Financial Times. Not an ad to subscribe.

    In any case Tyler Brule the writer mentioned there was a phone in work that would have a PKB. It would not be a Blackberry. Try and Google it if you can.

    Are you still using a BlackBerry or have you gone modern? Gone modern? What is that supposed to mean?! A keyboard is thoroughly modern and carrying a battered BlackBerry gets more compliments than a finely cut suit from the best Firenze tailor. How often do I hear, “Ahhh, a BlackBerry. I wish my company hadn’t made us all move over to iPhones. I really miss it”? A little bird from Ticino told me that a wonderful new device is in the works for all of us who like the tactile reassurance of clicking and clattering keys and might just ship in time for the new year. If I hear further updates in the meantime I’ll be sure to keep you posted. By the way, how do you think this column gets tapped out most weeks? On a fine piece of technology from Canada’s brief flirtation with tech. Tyler Brûlé is editor-in-chief of Monocle magazine;
