10.3.3 was really just a maintenance release. Runs pretty much the same

Says otherwise many posters with different phones. And didn't really find many comments on leap. Saw so many comments about errors in PP and Q10. So thought to ask specifically about it.

Even if it is a maintenance release,it seems to bring some changes under the hood atleast

Read more carefully; most of the complaints I see are user error and very few are actual issues.

Android apps not working properly, hub clutter, sluggishness...I think all these are not user errors. Anyways thanks for input.

And yes..the main purpose of this thread was to make sure if it is possible to get a good fast OS.

And me, I am always a clean install person. I did already 3 times clean install os this OS in my PPSE. Each time I face with different issues. Just 3 days before I did autoload with thurask's autoloader and I already saw browser sluggishness even when there are only 2-3 tabs and also saw showing sluggishness when swiping through pages in main screen. Had flickering, (not just in hub) in last 2-3 installs, but in all those times, I had played with brightness ( I somehow believe it is some kind of bug in brightness settings), and this time I did not have any issues yet, but did not play with brightness or battery saving yet!

Yep, I have to agree a lot of user error, a lot of users forget as it has been a while since a so update , there are little thing you can do to correct minor problems after you have just loaded an OS like a simple hard boot....that has cleared up a lot of issues with the newest update

Well, I loaded it on my p9983 , did a hard reset and all seems well. I have seen others with issues using android apps and using the wrong versions of the apps. Other having Bluetooth issues and reboots are fixing these problems. The leap would be no different

But necessity of hard reset to a newly installed OS shows its weakness right?

Not in my opinion. I've done a hard reset on every OS I have used on any of my bb10 devices. I feel it clears any residual crap hanging around. It tends to clear things up. It's just a pattern I use when I use an auto loader or I get a carrier update.

I never did it unless I started feeling some troubles. But with this OS, even hard reset is not helping me to make it better. Just today, when I opened a pdf file from my mail in hub, it loaded a pdf file which I opened last and was stuck there. Couldn't use Hub anymore before a hard reset. Having this much issues 3 days after autoloading a new os is first time for me!

After 3 days everything should be settled . I would back up and try a new install of that autoloader

I never made any backups in link or anywhere other than copying files. I have already decided to do another install for sure. But in case of leap, I cannot keep doing this coz it is my friend's and I cannot do wipe more than once and then reset. Hence I wanted to be complete sure

Honestly, it runs about the same. Haven't noticed much of a difference. Still feels really smooth. I would recommend the update just to see the new build number at this stage lol

I'm sure some things we updated and fixed but haven't noticed anything

Android apps are failing because the android runtime is severely outdated. It has nothing to do with the BB10 OS. Want android apps buy the Dtek50

Talking about the same android apps that work very well in 10.3.2. And here the comparison I want is ofcorz between 10.3.2 and 10.3.3. Not between bb10 and blackdroid. So Please feel free to refrain from commenting if you cannot stop yourself from advising to buy Blackdroid.
