Hi guys, I am considering to purchase Curve 9320. Any suggestions? (other than to go for a Classic)

If it fits your needs and there is some advantage to you in buying one... like BIS. I say go for it.

I'd never even consider it, but we all live in different market that each have their own needs.

May be I am ol' fashioned, but I like BBOS better than BlackBerry 10, despite all the limitations of the former. If BlackBerry ever decides to reintroduce BBOS, I will ditch my Z30 for it. BBOS is much more professional looking, where as BlackBerry 10 is a little more 'freaky'.

Received my new BlackBerry 9320. I will review it after a week of usage. Let me find the relevance of BBOS phones in today's world.

Well, it's been nearly a week and I have decided not to go back to Z30 for a while. Curve 9320 is the phone I have been looking for. A no nonsense, pure utility phone, that's how feel about it. A few things I am not satisfied about are screen resolution, which is a little bit pixelated and a slight sluggishness. Everything else is absolutely great, including battery life, quality of apps, physical keyboard etc. I wish if BlackBerry would make another BBOS 7.x device with more added features like front camera, better processor and more memory, at the same time retaining what the people loved in their legacy BlackBerry devices and BBOS. BlackBerry 10, in my opinion can never match the goodness of BBOS 7.

Except for the front camera, it's called the Bold 9900.

I own a Bold 9900 also, but battery drain is heavy.

I am thinking of buying now the used blackberry 9320, just to have an option if my secondary office Nokia phone dies.

Here at my country I can get for 20 euros.

After reading some of the reviews, I could see that 9320 have an fm stereo radio, which is must for me, and that 9900 doesn't have it, because it's bold phone.

But one thing I don't understand, please, will it be possible for me to use my email account and maybe some of the chats available (never mind which) and browsing on the Internet but only through WiFi?

That's my main worry, because the keyboard is excellent, the battery is enough strong and fm stereo radio is magnificent feature, just don't understand what's going to be available to use through wifi.

    Thanks in advance.

Well, you can certainly browse the internet with WiFi--including even Facebook that is now accessible via browser only. I don't know if whatsapp can be used via wifi only, but for email and BBM to work, you'd need BIS.

Thanks mate. Than it means, I will be able to open mobile view of my mail using browser? That's ok for me. Because I don't need the option to immediately get the notifications of incoming emails.

And some other chat app? Telegram, etc.
