    1. Hub doesn't seem to be polished yet and lacks functionality.
    2. No Blend.
    3. My Passport SE, for me, is still the better device compared to the Priv.
    4. No built in File Manager. I know there are lots of File Managers in the Play store, but a built in File Manager will integrate better with the Hub and other productivity apps of BlackBerry. And for a phone that prides itself with security, what can be more unsecure than a third party app accessing all of your files.

So the general thing is price for what you get
    Then os
    Etc...
And I agree I love android but I know it's a mess to bad windows and BB10 don't have apps or devs are not willing too...

The Priv is a nice device but in hope for Priv two
Drop the price or add / fix the following to justify that price

Front camera needs to be a high quality 5 mp and work on the software for the rare camera it's good expect the processing.

I would prefer snapdragon 820 and Samsung processor....

Keyboard seems to be love or hate as in some find it small that's normal but others say it's not up to Q10, 9900 or passport levels if typing feel.
Finger print sensor, USB C port, stereo speakers or a high quality mono speaker reviews have said the speaker quality is lacking...

The rest that need to fix is software for me

So for what you get the nexus and Motorola devices offer better value

Would like to see BlackBerry optimize the OS for a year. Plus, I just don't want a physical keyboard. BlackBerry has a wonderful, if not best in class, virtual keyboard. I would like a super slim Priv sans PKR. I'd snap that up in a heartbeat.

Still, I'm super excited to see where BlackBerry is going with Android.

Marshmallow doesn't allow you to change app permissions?

I thought it let's you control what app can have access to certain things

    Posted via CB10
Marshmellow lets you change app permission, but doesn't give you any stats as to how many times an app used permission.

So for example, before flashlight is in quick settings, there are android flashlight apps that needs the camera permission (because it's turning on the camera flash). DTEK will give you stats on how many times the camera permissions has been accessed, so you could determine whether it's using the permission roughly what you expected it to do, vs hammering the camera, which suggests something's funny is with the app.

Marshmellow also kinda buries the app permission settings pretty deep.

you can install any number of apps to do what Dtek does. Not sure what you mean about older behaviours - i went into apps and could change permissions.
Oh? Name some that doesn't require rooting. (I genuinely aren't aware of stuff that doesn't need rooting)
DTEK, as far as I understood it, taps into framework when an app uses the permission, so either that stats gathering is part of the system (which android would grant that system apps more permission), or you install an app and need to give it root access to monitor, which then you'd have to ask yourself whether you trust the monitoring app with root access.

I wouldn't not deny that I'm tempted on a daily basis. But the cost, lack of hub, fear of losing the apps that I have on my q10, small easy to hold size and concerns of build quality. My q10 is so nice I prefer it's keyboard over the passport and classic, both of which I've had. Also to top it I've managed to replace the batter y with an 1800 milli amp battery...great battery life!!

For many people on here, it's having to admit you bet on the wrong horse instead of being a grownup that can admit that your reasons for justifying decision were just incorrect or unpopular. BB10 has never been secure like BBOS 7 since BB10 used carrier data instead of BIS. If you compare BB10 without BES to BlackBerry's hardened Android, I'd estimate the security level isn't much different.

BIS never gave more security or privacy. That's always needed BES.
