I don't like sliders. Ever since the 9800 I was saddled with. It's just, for me, annoying. The Passport form is nicer -- one solid piece.

Hasn't convinced me that it can replace any of my bb10 phones. I do plan on getting it though just to have on the side while BlackBerry gets it together on their end. Maybe by early 2016 during tax season

We cannot tell people what they feel isn't a good enough reason to purchase a device!

2) No Removable battery. I do not want to have a $900 paperweight for a simple faulty battery once the battery wears down.
3) Too big

Otherwise, it is a great phone.

This. At least the Playbook was innovative.

This is Android and they want us to pay a premium for it. If I want Android I will get a Nexus device with vanilla Android and know Google stands behind it with software updates for years.

Because all of the BlackBerrys I have ever purchased have eventually become obsolete.. Storm, Bold 9930.. BBOS no longer gets updated.. Forced to BB10.. Z10, Q10 and Z30 I have had and now it looks as if BB10 will no longer be around.. Priv is the focus now with Android.. And I chose BlackBerry because I didn't want Android or Apple.. BlackBerry was secure and I enjoyed the physical keyboard and unique qualities of BlackBerry.. But now I am on iOS because it just works well!.. They make sure everyone gets their money's worth.. iOS 9 goes all the way back to the 4S I think. I've always been a BlackBerry fan but they always seem to disappoint.. That's why..

Agree...my personal device is the Porsche Design Graphite BlackBerry P'9983, but my work issued device is an iPhone 6s on Mobile Iron behind the F5-Edge VPN Client. I've become so use to iOS that eventually I'll probably switch to both being iPhones but after dropping $1150 on the Porsche Design I'll stick with it as long as it's getting updates.

That's exactly how I feel for both Droid and iOS. Both are retro (at this point) Operating Systems compared to BB10. Even my beloved 9900 running OS7 seems dated now. BB10 has me spoiled.... in a good way.

#1 Reason: My Z10 still works great
#2 Reason: Allready have an Android Phone (Galaxy Note 2)
#3 Reason:Way to expensive in my country around 1000 Euros.(Better go for the Passport) .

I still have about 10 months left on my contract with telus. The priv is a brand new product. I'll wait a bit and see. Besides a lot can happen in 10 months. I'm still really loving my passport.

3: Because the keyboard is crampy (after going from 9900, to Q10, to Classic and now Passport, Priv keyboard is "crampy")!
