Default VERIZON - NYC/NJ Starting to suffer already

I've had Verizon for over 10 years. I briefly switched to att in 08 for 18 months. Now I'm back with Vzw. I've noticed significant increase in unstable signal, static during calls and dropped calls while mobile. I have also noticed a significant increase in complete loss of signal. Now, I will say I have the Bold 9650 and this is probably one of the worst phones reception wise I've ever had, but...other friends on vzw are experiencing this as well. Wondering who else is seeing this happening?

Hi Mamaluka,

I've been with Verizon since 1997. I also have the Bold 9650 OS5 and have excellent cell phone reception. Once in a blue moon do I get a drop call. My signal strength is 4-5 bars. No static what so ever during calls. Once every couple of months I dial *228 (option 2) which will update your roaming capabilities.
