Verizon BB Service Down?

Cant connect to the internet, Email seems to work, not in a position to try my wifi out since I am at work and just all around annoyed. Have a Storm 2. Anyone else? Started around 0830 Eastern

Same here. I'm in Southern Indiana, running Storm (1) on Verizon. Had feedback on FB that someone in the UK was having similar issues but not sure what carrier.

Mine was working fine until about 7am CST.

Appears twitter is down in general from desktop as well.

Seems like mine is down in NYC as well. Nothing on Twitter's Verizon or RIM accounts about it, though. This sucks.

Other users on FB also claim they are having trouble. 1 confirmed Verizon user there. I'd call them but you know it would be an hour on hold because everyone else is calling too. I'll just wait it out!

looks like it is more than just data in my area. all calls are going straight to voice mail even though i am showing full signal

On Verizon in NYC. Email and BBM are working. Can't access the web using the BB browser but Opera Mini is working fine.

I live in kansas, and I am running the BB Tour for Verizon and my hubby has the curve 8330, and ours has been down since this morning as well. I called customer service, and he said there is an outage for blackberries and that they are working on it for the time being all they can do is apologize to the customers...just sayin, this is making my decision of switching from a BB to an iphone or droid alot Easier...I was a deadset BB user, but I have had nothing but problems out of my phone and service this past month... like self reboots...freezing issues...not sending my messages...BBMs taking forever to send...I upgrade in April so I still have time to change my mind lol but this morning just...pushed me closer to switching So Idk

Got a bbm from the NC Coast asking if I was having issues. I am too in Raleigh-Durham, NC. None of my fb comments went through from this am.

I'm in the middle of the Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois with a BB Curve using Alltel. Sorry to hear y'all have outages, but also GLAD to hear it. I've been down (for all except voice calls) since around 7:15 CDT. Whenever stuff like this happens, my brain runs through all the end-of-the-world flicks I've seen and I have visions of being the last man standing, trying to survive in the woods! =8^O

I have an 89xx thru AT&T in Morgantown, WV & I can receive & send emails, calls, etc. I can even access AT&T Media Mall but not the browser. Service books have been sent, did battery pull, etc. AT&T stated this is a Blackberry issue not a specific provider issue & that they are aware of the problem & are working on it. Just thought I'd post what I've learned about this issue so far

I'm in Northeast Ohio and it's out here too...I freaked this AM because I had a ton of problems with my Curve 8530 and just got a Tour yesterday and now it's not connecting. Nice to know I'm not the only one having issues today!
