RIM or T-Mobile network problems

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone else here as been affected by Blackberry/RIM + T-Mobile data transmission problems.
We run 100+ BB’s and for the last two weeks email and internet access on them has been appalling. Calls/Texts unaffected.
Basically Emails don’t appear on the BB. Sending yourself one may force them to appear. Or you have to reboot the device. Not good when you are a 24hr law firm.
To begin with T-Mobile said it was only London that was affected, even through our staff located across the UK were affected.
Then I was told that its an issue with T-Mobiles and RIM’s talking to each other.
And I have now been told by T-Mobile that the problem is at RIM’s and that its global across all networks. The service will apparently “improve” on the 8th Feb
The problem is intermittent and does not affect everyone at the same time. I could be next to someone with the problem and not be affected at all.
T-mobiles sites/forums are pretty useless.
Any others out there been affected?
I read about Verizon in the US. Could it be part of same problem?

FYI. T-Mobile has confirmed their network can’t handle all the data due to the network congestion. Apparently because of all the Smartphone’s/Ipads etc they sold at Christmas

messaging issues today, anyone else? I don't think this is because of the phones and I-pads sold at Christmas, now?
