Is it over? I'm listening to the live feed and it's playing but I don't hear anything.

Meh I just double clicked on the bar and Chrome filled in my info. It's not like you need to confirm or anything.

No ETA on services being brought back.

This isn't good for RIM. It's not helping their image. :/

So basically one switch failure in Europe created such a backlog of messages that systems in other regions are now starting to get backlogged too! Not sure if I'm buying that. Also being in the network business a switch, no matter what the size, is usually a fairly easy thing to replace assuming you have been backing up the configs and have a hardware on sight. They had a hot spare that didn't work so worse case they should have been able to get the thing migrated over. Things just don't seem right with what they are saying based on my experiences over the years (i.e. I think this is BS).

Cool it just started...listening now.

EDIT- Nice, so they don't think a hack caused this at all. That's somewhat good to hear.

Maybe an inside job. Sabotage from overactive shareholders or competitors.
Just another conspiracy theory.
