Ours came back up around 11:30 AM EST. A call back from RIM confirmed it was a Network carrier issue and their connections to the RIM Network.

Im getting slow bbm at the moment (just ticks, no D or R)

Email slightly slower but working

Browsing and apps all ok

But they get there in the end, on orange UK
