I think we may be in the midst of a BlackBerry outage. Our BES server cannot contact the US SRP server. "Could not find host us.srp.blackberry.com". I am also not receiving mail from non-enterprise accounts.

Same here, I can't send or receive anything through BIS. I'm in Chicago.

Confirmed, we have an open case with RIM on this. They are getting flooded with calls as I was on the phone with them.

I am not receiving emails, UberSoc isn't updating, and some websites are not working. BBM and Facebook are working however. I'm in Wisconsin on US Cellular (BIS).

Also, I got a new phone on Saturday and called in to USCC to have them release my old PIN from my account so my brother-in-law could use it. They said they couldn't get connected to their BlackBerry administrator system to do so.

Oh man, again, cant send email in FL on Sprint. cant even get to resend service books.

Just going to throw this out here before everyone over-reacts but perhaps this is more of a transit issue considering what's happening around the rest of the internet right now...

"Blackberry is down" was the response I got from a Verizon customer service rep.

Regardless of that broad statement, I can get to a few websites, Facebook, gmail and other apps are working for me. Just no email.

I have employees in Alberta and British Columbia not able to send or receive email since early this morning. They can surf the web, and BBM.
Our employees in Ontario are ok so far (at least mine is). As I type this, we're now we're getting invalid certificates when people receive messages on older 8350i phones. My 9900 is still fine.

Yes, our system could not contact the BB servers as of approx. 6:20am PST.

I noticed this too. AT&T in Baton Rouge, LA.

BeWeather can't connect, yet Facebook can. No emails, and only about half of my bookmarked websites work in the native browser. But they all work if going through Opera Mini. For example, I can access CrackBerry in Opera (doing it now), but the native browser gives me an "invalid address" error. Yet BlackBerry Forums works in the native browser just fine (so far).

just great, my priority Monday morning communications completely missed, real good for my business RIM. Can anyone tell me has this always been the case? Been on BB for about two years and never noticed one snag. Now, I really wonder what I'm missing, or what didn't go out.

Yes, just got my emails too. The way it acted, it didn't seem like a normal BIS outage. Had to have been the Time Warner / Level 3 network lines problem posted about above.
