Outage BBM Question 10/12/11

Ok I was effected by the outage here in NA yesterday for most of the day, as was my fiance'. Yesterday during the day I sent her about 5 BBM messages to test the system and see if it was back up. My phone finally seemed to come out of it and I got flodded by emails around 4pm. At around 5pm my fiance's phone seemed to come out of it as well. Most of the messages I sent her seemed to go through and we were chatting on BBM all evening, I was even sending pictures with no problem. This morning I sent her a few mwssages and I have the D on the messages, she told me on the phone that she replied to them but I haven't received them, and the messages havent changed to R as they normally do when she reads them. I am attributing that to a possibility of me still being effected by the outage somewhat, but the weird part, and the question I have, is a couple of the messages I sent her during the day when both phones were out were sent to her at 3am. Has anyone else had anything like this and is it possible that the outage is causing this weird issue?
