Default Optus Australia Blackberry Outage
I havent received much information from optus but it appears to be a nation-wide outage to blackberry users on the optus network.

Its back up now!
A BIS update doesnt justify bringing down the entire blackberry network for 3 hours though, effecting BES users as well
