    Default MASSIVE RIM OUTAGE - Since Sept. 15 @ 6 PM

    Seems there's a major outage right now of some/all of RIM's services. My rep at Telus just confirmed that since 6 PM yesterday, a problem with the BBM servers has been affecting web/email and other data services.

    I've been having serious issues with my brand new 9900, namely, emails taking 45 minutes to push through with BIS, BBM requests not going through, feeds not refreshing, data working and not working intermittently, etc.. Can anyone report similar issues? Share here.

    Note: This may just be Canada-wide, I am not sure.

    I did my usual BIS test this morning (I sent an email from my computer to each of my six pushed accounts), and they all pushed instantly.

    My email push is fine. My bbm has been spotty at best since last night. This AM doesn't seem to be "d" at all.

    I am wtih TELUS and am experiencing horrible BBM service right now.

    I can confirm this is occurring for both BIS and BES users on Telus. On my personal BIS I just got a bunch of emails that have been queued for the past few hours, however none of my BBM messages have gone through.

    Can also confirm that this is affecting Bell also via a co-worker.

    Recevied some BIS e-mail this morning, no issue. Wasn't able to browse or bbm 20 minutes ago. I'm able to browse now, but still can't bbm. On Telus with the 9900.

    On Telus and BBM has been own since early last night....8-9ish. Emails appear to be coming through although there could be a backlog of emails awaiting for me.

    BBM messages recieve the "check" for being sent but no "D" or "R" at all

    Direct PIN messages seem to be working as well.
    Z10, PlayBook, 9810 Torch, 9800 Torch, 9530 Storm, 8330 Red Curve and older ones too

    BBM is out on Rogers as well. It was spotty last night but its been out since 9ish this morning...surprised this isnt on crackberry's home page!

    Maybe it is not a true outage....maybe RIM is making some changes to prepare for PlayBook OS2.0

    I wonder if this was the new software being installed. there was a post on CB about updated software coming online. My BIS was slow last night as well.

    There was an outage here in the UK but it cleared about 1 hour ago. Emails came through.

    I am in Ohio and my step daughters 9700 is working fine now, but last night it was slow as can be.

    KW BBM:

    Rogers - appears to be down
    Bell - seems ok

    Haven't tested Telus or Wind yet

    BBM has been down for me since about 8PM last night, still down now at almost noon today. I'm with Rogers in Toronto. I wonder what's going on?

    Rogers, Calgary, rebooted and re-registered, but can't send bbm messages. recieved some this morning, but they don't get my reply. emails seem to come through.

    True, maybe BIS 4.1 is being rolled out?
