Default Is Facebook affected by RIM outage?

I just had the strangest thing happen................I am on my pc and because I cannot get onto Facebook using my BB, I went to the site from here instead. Norton Security pops up and says "known fraudulent web site" and won't let me on. I have used this link thousands of times and never had a problem. Anyone else tried this today and got the same message? Is it just coincidence that RIM is down? Possible hackers?

Just found out that many people are having this issue today.............something about Norton blocking Facebook homepages as "fraudulent" so people cannot login. Apparently Symantec is "working on the problem with no estimated time for a fix". Gee where have we heard that before

Could be what I got to...I thought it was strange that I hadn't gotten any messages from my fb at all...Well I pulled my battery and thought that maybe a reboot would do the trick but that just seemed to mess up the entire phone so I thought well I'll just delete the fb and reinstall it...well now it's totally gone...and of course with everything down when I go into the apps the only fb opt there is is for the upgrade...and it wont let me cuz I dont have my fb anymore so then I try to download but can't...really hate tech sometimes...Don't know how I'm gonna get my fb back on my phone now. Anyone got any suggestions?

facebook wouldn't be affected by the outage, only the app.
