Default can't connect to BIS

Cant seem to connect to BIS, i go to email setting in setup, it says connecting to email setting, but after a while it says it couldnt connect. It was working earlier this evening, like 6 hours ago. i cleared service books twice, pulled battery after both of those times, still doesnt work. It says EDGE, but after say 10 minutes, it changes to edge. anyone have this problem?thanks

p.s. i am fido in canada

I have this same problem.
Have searched hi and wide and cannot find a solution.

I seem to have solved my problem. May carrier had my old IMEI number. Updated it with the current one and now, so far, I can get onto BIS.

try a different carrier, if you can.
