Exclamation Blackberry OUTAGE NOW?!?

ok.. so for the whole day today (since this morning), when attempting to get on the internet, my phone displays "There is insufficient network coverage to process your request. Please try again later".

I call Verizon, they have me do a battery pull (I had already done numerous), the whole *228 thing, and send a host message. Still, no internet. Then I get placed on hold, and the rep comes back saying there is a BlackBerry server outage..

My Curve 8330 on Sprint gets online just fine.. is it only Verizon that is down? Or do I have a bigger issue?

Is working fine in Portland Oregon as well - so it may just be some routing equipment in Ok City's NOC.

No problems with AT&T. Of course, we probably have different servers anyways. But if one goes down, the rest sometimes follow.

Default BB outage

I changed my gmail password, then tried to change it on my BB.
When I couldn't, I called Verizon and was eventually told that there was a BB outage that was probably the reason I was having this problem.
I haven't noticed any other problems.
My other e-mail is working fine.

I still couldn't get my gmail account re-established this morning; so, I called Verizon again.
It turns out that there was some setting in gmail that had to be turned off, as I understand it, for my account to work.
They made the change. I was told that I could not make this change myself.
My gmail acct is now working. Everything seems to be back as before.

Everything is working just fine in SC. I'm at work running Slacker. Sent myself an email a few mins ago. All good.

I'm getting the error message here in Florida. My BB browser is useless, but Opera is working just fine.

It's an acknowledged problem (spoke with VZW this evening regarding another, similar problem). They hope to have the internet browser stuff push properly within 24 hours.

I had just upgraded to the .419 when this mess started...thought I jacked up the install so I rolled back to .328...still nada so I called Verizon...after much beating around the bush, she told me there was a RIM outage.

I thought it was just me changing areas of the country today. I flew home to NC from TX and am now getting the "Insufficient Network Coverage..... " message. I am on VZW using a Curve 8530. When I turn on the WiFi, I can connect just fine. Nothing through Verizon.

Sounds almost like a carrier problem.
