Default Are the BIS Problems Fixed Yet??

I'm on AT&T with a Torch and this morning when I turned on my phone, I got the dreaded red SOS. I did a battery pull and nothing. I did the BIS update and everything is now very slow, and I only have EDGE and not 3G. Right now the only way I have good coverage in 3G is if I use wifi. I'm not happy. My husband's Torch was fine until I told him to update the BIS, and now his is slow and not good coverage.

SOS means Simcard is not being read.

I don't know: I've got a client in Suffolk County, NY with AT&T/BIS and they haven't been receiving emails all day. The email comes to their Desktop but not their Blackberrys. Are there people out there in the NY area on AT&T getting BIS emails today (or not)? Just want to determine if it's an AT&T issue.

Thanks.

We're on Sprint, got hubby's phone replaced tonight and BIS won't accept his email password for validation, it says it's invalid but it's not. I called Sprint Support and they had no luck either, we even changed his password and it still won't take it. Something is definately going on with BIS.

Still having issues on Verizon near Chicago. I can send emails and access the web, but haven't been receiving emails all morning (Yahoo mail).

I decided to turn the phone off and leave it until Monday, and everything was back to normal again. Guess it was a network problem, because I haven't had a problem since Sunday.

Thanks.
