So i reached home from work, ate dinner, picked up my blkbry, opened bbm and sent a message...the little clock icon appeared by the message :\
Tried to send to another contact...same problem.
Did a battery pull...edge is in lowercase O_O
Spoke to someone from my carrier...they confirmed BIS is down & they're working on it.
UGHHHHHHHH 
update: my dad's blkbry is on bes, his edge is lowercase also.
Carrier has no helpful information as to what is going on. (nothing new)
