I think there's a BIS outage in the UK

I'm having the same issue- glad someone else appears to be and it's not just me ! Facebook and twitter apps aren't working and neither are any other apps. Don't think BBM's are sending being received either. Presume it will be resolved in due course....

Me too, in work and we can't get on using 02,Vodafone or Virgin since around 10:20 this morning.

Yes, for the last hour or so I have been having problems. I usually use 3G to connect, but when I noticed I wasn't receiving emails or other updates I switched my connection to WiFi. But no luck there either, it seems to be a system wide outage.

Fcaebook and Twitter apps will work trough wifi if you can find any.

Same problem here in the Netherlands with T-mobile !

Looks like a worldwide outage. Here, in India too, Vodafone and Airtel seem affected since last 2.30 hrs. We are already on BIS 4.1 .

just spoke to vodafone UK, there are having problems connecting to the blackberry server, although my missus can use heres with no issues, they said should be working again in a few hours.... i have to actually do some work now

O2 has confirmed the problem, highlight "an update to BIS" as the reasons for the outage.

Since about 12.30 on Orange UK, fingers crossed for a quick resolution. Interestingly, emails I send seem to be received (even though they don't show as sent) - so don't keep sending emails over and over!

O2 wouldnt give me a time, because they said it was an internal issue relating to RIM. So to answer your question, I have no idea I hope soon, it feels alien to be without BBM and emails lol

Same problem on vodafone and Hi (KPN) in the Netherlands. Although I got 1 whatsapp message from a non bb user and I could reply it.
