    Default BIS Outage anyone?

    Is anyone else experiencing a BIS outage?
    I can send emails, and surf the web (both opera, and rim browser) but NOT receive any emails! BIS page will NOT let me log in to resend service books, it says "incorrect password." But I know my password is correct, it has never changed.

    I'm on VZW in Cali. On the phone with VZW now, they have no idea what's going on.

    Everything working great here in Minnesota. I've been receiving and sending emails and BBM's all day.

    Default No e-mails ...

    here in western Pa., just outside of Pittsburgh. I can text, and data on BerryWeather updates. E-mails appear to go out fine, but I haven't received any incoming for more than hour.

    So frustrating. Not so much that it went down (although that is annoying)
    But that RIM won't come forward and alert the Cell Carriers so they can be informed. Instead of "no we haven't heard anything from RIM"

    Talking to Matt from RIM right now. He confirmed there is an outage right now.
    He said to wait 2 hours, gave me a ticket. "Planned maintenance" supposedly

    I am experiencing the same problems. I can send emails but can not receive emails...BIS as well. I am in INDY

    I guess their maintenace had an adverse affect on some people's BIS emails. RIM confirmed there's other calls pouring regarding this issue.

    Moderators - perhaps a little blurb on the main page would be helpful to let people know about the outage?

    Same problem here, I'm in the Toronto area and I can send texts, BBM, surf, I can even send emails but I cant receive emails. I tried to log on to BIS and it told me my username or password is invalid so sounds like there definitely is a problem.

    wow! I thought I was the only one or that someone had hacked my BIS account!! But thank God it's happening elsewhere. I couldn't login to my BIS account on the PC or on my phone. emails aren't coming in, emails aren't going out except for a few that did. And FB, Twitter, and internet are connecting. hope it gets fixed soon!

    BTW, I'm in Mexico using Telcel.

    everything fine here in Tucson, AZ. all emails coming through currently at 1:27pm mountain time

    I am Chicago on ATT, enterprise email is working as is internet but no incoming personal emails from BIS.

    I dunno, all BB has going for them is email. That's their "claim to fame" so to speak. If you can't do that, then......what's the point?

    Just spoke to ATT customer service rep whose manager said it's a known issue with RIM and there's no known timeframe for resolution. Sweet.

    I'm in Columbus, OH and I haven't received an email for a few hours. All other data services are working fine though.
