humm, yes but even if they serve different purposes, they are still cpu-based servers connected by digital cables...they fail.
on a completely different note, the problem is that BB rely exclusively on RIM servers. There is no roll-back system (direct Imap/pop email connection, non-BIS internet) for Bis users (BES different story). now considering BIS is not secure, such 100% reliance on servers is a bit dumb.
During the 3 day outage, my playbook was working normally. Aint that ironic?
Networks do go down sometimes... and the fact that BB phones rely exclusively on RIM servers, even on wifi, is a weakness.
