Alert:RIM Outage/VZW and other carriers/8-27-2010

I am unable to connect to internet...emails are slowed or not received. Just called verizon and was told there is a blackberry outage that has affects all internet and email intermittantly. They are "working with blackberry" to resolve this issue...no time frame indicated. Anyone else having problems?

With AT&T, BB Torch. Called customer service, was told to replace phone, went to store, and called tech support from there and was told there is a BB BIS outage in central ohio.

I used to love Blackberry, but it was things like this that frustrated the **** out of me. It's part of the reason I'm using a Droid X now...

I'm SORTA lucky, if you can call being stuck in a sub basement lucky! I don't have a cell signal to miss! HOWEVER when I went out to lunch I SEEMED to be working and got a flood of mail and was able to use the browser (I checked just to see if I could!).

I've been on uma all night long and I have been unable to get EDGE or UMA even after radio reboots. Texts and BBM and web seem to work however

My company received an email yesterday from BES service saying that there are experiencing some problems and our emailing capability should be fixed soon... and 2 hours later sent another one saying the problem was fixed.

I live in Portugal but this was yesterday...

VZW outage in AZ confirmed.... thought it was because i swapped my tour for a bold (too many margaritas and a swimming pool - no bueno for the bb tour...*sigh*) - anywho - internet/msging seems all that is affected. inbound/outbound calling just fine

My emails and BBM messages are arriving promptly, however my data is going nonstop. The arrows have not stopped since this morning. I only have Berryweather running in the background, and it only updates every 2 hrs. I had to turn my device off this afternoon. The nonstop data exchange was killing my battery. Battery pull did not help. The arrows still will not stop, but I'm on the charger now, so I'm at 100% battery.

Email is hit/miss, messengers are not to be trusted - sometimes a conversation can be held, sometimes it won't send but will still receive and update contacts. BerryWeather occasionally will think I'm in Wyoming (home location is GPS), and every once in a while whome browsing I'll get a gateway timeout.

Salt Lake City, Utah. With Verizon I Noticed This Morning (Friday) Beteween 9:00 AM And About 10:45 AM (MST) That I Was Having Issues With E-mail Being Slow, And Then Facebook Was Having Issues, After 10:45 AM It Seemed It Picked Back Up And I Didnt Notice Anymore Trouble. Then Again The Building I Work In Has Sheer Walls That are Probably At Least 4 Feet Thick If Not More And Lots Of Rebar In It. But It Seemed Service Was Worse Today Then Normal.

on Verizon in Rochester, NY. My data has been back since the early afternoon, but just a little while ago I lost all services. can't even make phone calls. Just says "sos" luckily i have wifi so i haven't lost data. are we alone, or is anyone other than my wife and i having this issue?

I haven't had any issues at all. I'm on a Curve 8530 3G CDMA on Sprint in Madison (Cleveland) Ohio.

Out of curiosity who do u have as far as service and which bb device do u have? And also where r u located. Sorry if it seems like I'm asking stupid questions
