Verizon / Tour / Not receiving emails, not able to send emails also... something is definitely up.

BIS email down on VZW in DC metro area. Web still works.

UPDATE: as of now, Web is also down.

Same here... VZW on west coast FL, email down and web up. both google and non-google emails.

Exactly. Uptime for the BIS servers is pretty low. I love push email and the BB's aren't bad but I'm starting to feel the frustration of a lot of other users on here.

From what I can tell in central NY is that SMS/MMS work, BBM appears to be working, internet works. It is only affecting my email.

Facebook notifications are sent via email, so if your Facebook account is associated with a BIS email address, you will not receive notifications; if it is associated with a BES address, you probably will receive them.

Posting comments and such on Facebook should still work as that as done via the web, not email.

I don't have a lot of tolerence for a subpar service when I'm paying a premium for it.
I use gmail and my other emails forward to it, so I can get push elsewhere plus get a better web experience. Pretty much a no brainer unless RIM does something Earth shattering soon.
