6/2/12 slow 3G browsers anybody?
So I was talking in another thread and users using att,tmo and vz have chimed in claiming slow speeds.
Just like when the servers were down before or right before they went down for good I have horrible 3G as does my wife and best friend on out berrys. On wifi its great so we know its not a mass phone issue.
Downloading opera mini solves the problem on 3G leaving me to believe that the servers browser may be overloaded or overworked since opera mini bypasses the rim servers and just uses carrier data only.
Thought it was just me but hearing others chime in adds to the argument.
I've wiped and reloaded, replaced my sim today and still no dice.
Let me know if anyone is having any slow browser issues?

Slow browser with pages sometimes not loading at all, all other internet functions seem fine. Ive been experiencing this for about two or three days now. Im in New York City on TMobile.
Edit: The browser is effectively useless.Last edited by charlielefaux; 06-02-2012 at 08:59 PM. Reason: Additional information.

Yes if its multiple carriers more likely than not it is a bis issue. Unless all carriers are having data issues. Lol

Download opera mini. That bypasses the noc and you can surf.

Im the OP from the other thread. It was driving me insane today. Now that I tried the sim in the 9860 and the browser was slow on it, it's gota be server side issues. Opera here I come.

As of 08:21:21, in New York City, my TMobile 9900 (its browser more specifically) appears to be functioning normally again.
Update: as of 11:21:32, my broswer is no longer able to access web pages, the problem is very much back. Wifi enabled it works.Last edited by charlielefaux; 06-03-2012 at 10:25 AM.

All the symptoms expressed, as of yesterday. It's okay once in a while, other times not. (Sprint in RI and southeastern MA)

Just turned my wifi off and still having the same issue. I'm going to send service books and do a reboot and see if that helps.

Still no go. Mobile crackberry took 30 or so seconds before giving me an error.
