    Hello there. Are any UK BB users experiencing problems?

    I haven't been able to access email, BBM, AppWorld etc. for past 2 days (I can still get internet).

    I phoned my carrier, Virgin Mobile, and they said this was a problem with the BB servers, which was causing intermittent problems across the UK. I'm not sure I believe them - you can tell if someone isn't confident in what they are telling you. The BB Icon is present for a few minutes after a battery pull, but services still don't work, and BB icon disappears pretty soon.

    Update - 9th July 11.
    I called Virgin Mobile back. Whoever I had spoken to previously was being 'disingenuous' (to put it politely). There's no problem with BB servers. It was a problem with VM.

    Apparently if you buy a monthly BB access pass on Pay-As-You-Go it's possible that there is an overlap - in my case it let me purchase a July pass at 6.40am, but the June pass did not get 'fully' turned off until 7.15am (UK time), and this turned off the July pass as well. When I spoke with VM they said that as far as they could tell it always gets turned off around this time, regardless of exactly when the pass was purchased.

    Wonder if any other UK Virgin Mobile PAYG BB users have had a similar experience?
