    Lots of people have been asking, and we have an answer for you.

    Unfortunately, the most recent maintenance release issued by BlackBerry (10.0.10.85) will not be made available to SaskTel BlackBerry Z10 customers. The reason SaskTel has chosen not to provide this software update to our customers is that it will have a negative impact on the roaming capabilities of SaskTel issued Z10 devices. The next BlackBerry Z10 upgrade for SaskTel customers is expected to be available in late April. In working with BlackBerry, we have confirmed that the next release will not have any negative impacts to our customers. This maintenance release offered by BlackBerry focuses primarily on addressing minor fixes since the Z10 launch. Rest assured that SaskTel Z10 customers will still enjoy all the great features of the device.

    You've gotta be kidding me?? I finally got fed up with Sask-Tel and went to Telus and it's been great. What doesn't make sense though is Telus uses Sask-Tel's towers so why could Telus update my BB but Sask-Tel can't do yours?

    They've really dropped in service and innovation the last few years. I even got rid of my Sask-Tel landline when I got my Telus Z-10. Who needs it and their lousy service.

    I try to avoid small niche carriers like Sasktel. I'm Rogers all the way and haven't had a problem (other than getting ****ty signal in rural Saskatchewan) but I feel like a massive company like Rogers wouldn't run across this problem.

    Agreed it doesn't make sense! I will be changing my carrier as soon as I can! Very disappointing!

    Get hold of an AT&T sim, you can get the. 88 upgrade. Why wait for SuckTel?

    Very very unhappy with this decision and what does that mean for Blackberry Travel and any other missing applications?

    Good thing I borrowed my friends Bell SIM card to complete the update last weekend. The update has been great on my sasktel phone. Hopefully at some point the carriers won't be involved in the update process.

    My Z10 is amazing but to not put out a update that fixes issues that need attention. Is pure bull! Small union minds in Sasktel need to give there heads a shake for I'm changing carriers! A.s.a.p!

    That's why I paid SaskTel the $50 to unlock my phone so I could use a Telus sim to update immediately and have been using it with the new software with no issues

    at least u have the Z10...MTS STILL hasnt even released it yet. wish i had a phone that i could complain about not getting the updates for....go bombers!

    I dont blame you for going with Telus Sasktel has become the worst cell company. They do as they want and dont care about any of their customers. Thats the problem with a Province owned union company. They do as they like and if you dont like it,,, who cares. I will be going to telus as soon as my contract is up in a year

    Now I hear I can't get whatsapp without the new update. Will this be with all new apps??? I've noticed, less new apps on bbw.
