Given the smaller RAM and processing it should be a Z5

Did you guys not even bother to read the pic? It says the Z20 is replacing the Z10. I can't imagine they're going to give it lesser specs than the Z10. But I reserve the right to be mistaken. If that is the case, I'll be holding on to my Z10 for a good long while and should probably buy some more before inventory is depleted.

    Interesting, moving to rumored

In saying that, yours and the other OP post at the same time, so yeah, as this has more posts keeping this one open instead.

I thought the Z3 LTE has similar specs to the z30, if so the Z20 name makes sense.

Z5 and Q3 were actually what Cafe and Kopi were supposed to be.

Anyway, not sure about the name, but I'm 99.95% sure this is Manitoba. Cheapened Z30.

That's a pretty reasonable bet, at least, I think so. I would wager a device to replace the z10 line but not shadow the z30 is what this is, if it's anything at all. If the z30 were being outdone, I doubt it'd be under the radar. BB has not hidden the passport by any means, so I would expect this to be a lesser model.

So anybody willing to take a stab at the specs of the Z20 (replacing the Z10 but not threatening the Z30)? My wild guess its gong to have the same performance as the Classic.

Z30 processor (maybe downclocked?), gig and a half of RAM, less storage space, (both probable) still has 1280x720 screen (last I checked) and LTE (duh).

At the same time the Z20 must not get too close to the Z3 else it will just be Z3 with LTE. Current Z10 owners may not find this tempting - I know I won't.

1.5ghz-1.7ghz processor with 2gb ram for a 2014-2015 phone is a fail already. Z10 already has those specs.. :/

If this drops by the end of the year it may just replace my Z10 as my next phone. Here's hoping!

If that was indeed going to be the case that would be such a big let down. Specs would have to be better, not worse if it were to be a true Z10 upgrade.

So, the successor to the Z10 but with less RAM.

    Hmm...

    Sincerely hope not.
