Default New BB on t-mo?

I've heard rumors that around x-mass, tmo will be releasing a blackberry, but something BIG like the torch. Any ideas on what this could be? Is it maybe the magnum/dakota?????

I also have a sneaking suspicion or call it intuition that the wonderful Magnum/Dakota will make its debut this year! Instead I hope it's for Verizon.

The 9900 became the 9800 Torch. No news of a release on T-Mobile past the 9780. Non-credible rumors have surfaced regarding a 9890 possibly for T-Mobile Q1 2011.

There isn't even official word on the 9780. But if rumors stick true, I'll be waiting on the 9890.

My bro works for t-mo and he has told me to wait until 2011 Q2 to upgrade my 8900. He isnt sure what it will be, he says it will be big. I know this isnt a real answer, but he ussually has good insider info, so I am waiting.

I don't think he's referring to a Blackberry upgrade. I do believe he is talking about Project Emerald which has been delayed.

I heard from t-mo reps there is supposed to be a new Berry coming out towards the end of this year. They didn't have a lot of info other than that it would be an OS6 device and "better than the Torch" (their words, not mine). They actually made a point of talking me out of buying a 9700 off the shelf (I currently have an 8900) because in a couple more months something better will be out. I just wish I knew what it was.

The only bb I know for sure is coming out is the 9300 curve. Yeah...3G, different colors. Who cares. It still doesn't have flash so to me my 8900 is still the best thing. This seems like the "upgrade" version of the 8520 but in different colors to target a certain market. I still like my blackberry black if u ask me.. I am hoping TMO and RIM launch something hot..similar to the Torch soon!!!!

Crucial Xtreme tweeted a while back someting along the lines of:
To be honest the remaining 2010 product lineup isn't anything too speacial, but in 2011, expect really big things. & Everyone thinks than RIM isn't listening to their consumers, but they are and they will deliver, it just takes time.

From reading that, I really dont think there is going to be much more coming this year than refreshes and lower to mid level BB's. I am excited for 2011 though, good thing that's when my upgrade is.
