Default Gosh I wish Moto Droid Razr was from RIM

Motorola DROID RAZR hands-on!

a brand new phone was announced today, lots of coverage and positive reviews. A very fine piece of hardware.

I RIM announced this phone as a BB running BBX, they would be back in business in the high end phone space.

But its not gonna happen anytime soon, with the touch Curve specs leaked but not being released....

I'm not feeling it...not a fan of that hardware. The 9900 is much sexier to me.

oh i agree w kb

but the field has been moving towards keyboardless devices.

and if for kb lovers like me, 2 months after releasing this device, RIM would have a sister phone with regular kb or slider. same cpu, same resolution, just different ppi and packaging.

boom!

Normally I dislike Motorola because of their treatment to the Canadian market but since Google bought Motorola, I'm willing to give them another look, the RAZR looks interesting but doesn't bring much to the table compared to other Androids that's out now. BTW Droid 3 should have the keyboard.

I've used Motorola phones for almost 18 years (first Moto phone was a bag phone! 20 years ago).

The new nexus seems far more interesting than the razr, if you are going for the bulkiness of a large screen device, why wouldn't you want the one with the higher resolution.

The stupid claims about how thin the device is when it has that great lump at one end just seem really silly though.

That's the "RAZR" part of it. But it's so 2005.

I played with a Droid 3 today, and it had a keyboard... the long sideways one. At least, I think it was a Droid 3 (Verizon). The keys were flat and mushy. Meh.
