[Concept] touchable led

I have a lot of free time lately and get bored and read a lot of CrackBerry. While I read about rumored devices I get to thinking what would be cool to have on it. I was wondering if anyone else would like a touchable led. What I mean is that the area around the led notification light is touch sensitive. By it being touch sensitive you could put the led to "sleep" for a varied amount of time, or simply touch to ignore. Example: touch once to put it to sleep for five minutes, or double tap to make it go away till you get another message. When my phone is blinking sometimes I keep looking at the led even though I don't want to respond, or can't respond for a while.

It could possibly have both. Phone in standby it would be tap to go away. Not in standby it could be tap to go to the message. I do like the idea of it going to the message. Maybe you could set it up how you'd want it. The more choice the better.
