I had a contract but haven't re-signed since it expired. Thanks to that, I am able to ask for specific things, like I did for the 500MB of data and the Smartphone Value Pack. Once you're on a contract, you can't ask for anything.

Even on contract, retentions will work with customers to keep them happy.
There are more threads in this section listing many plans others have gotten, along with the prices.
I have been with Rogers for over 17 years and always on contract because I do hardware upgrades every year.

I have been with Rogers for over 17 years and always on contract because I do hardware upgrades every year. | was going to say the same thing lol that persons post made me laugh. Retentions DOES give credits/discounts to people on contracts.
Here's the plan I currently have and I didn't have all the credits when I first started my contract it was actually closer to the 60 dollar range with less features:
350 daytime minutes, unlimited evenings and weekends @6pm
Voicemail, Caller ID
6gb data plan
unlimited incoming
unlimited rogers to rogers calling
1000 Canadian long distance minutes
2500 texts/unlimited recieved
Used to be 48 but got an additional $10 credit a few days ago so its now around 37 dollars total which includes taxes and fees.
If you guys have questions about regarding rogers retentions I would highly recommend checking out in the title description especially the first few pages and the more recent pages.

All for $75 plus tax. | You should get that 3gb data switched to the 6gb dude, the 6gb promotion is going on right now and its 30 dollars thats 10 dollars less than the 3gb and you double your data. there is no penalty for switching data plans.

It'll never happen. The only advantage you get on contract is a hardware upgrade. Then again, if you do get one and decide to cancel, may G-d help you.

Even my plan is better than yours in the fact that mine has more credits/discounts. You should chill man I was just trying to let people know that what you said is false, people on contracts can negotiate with retentions.
