Unlocking 8300 for USA

Hi all

I have a Rogers Locked 8300 that still works great and I want to unlock it either with Rogers help or external unlock site.

Once unlocked I want to use this phone while travelling in the USA! What networks will it work on and how does my data and email get effected by going to another network?

Is the 8300 mobile internet speed good for my lap op or should I get an unlocked mobile internet stick for quicker speed?

Oh and I still love my BB and I still have my 7290 that works great still too!

Unfortunately Rogers does not provide the unlock codes. You will need to purchase an unlock code. As for the Network, At&T is your best bet but for internet speeds its on the 2G Edge network which would be slower than an internet stick. Let us know if we can help out.
