Thumbs down Unhappy Rogers Customer

i have been a rogers customer over a year now and i am not happy with them. i first went on a 3 year contract with my blackberry pearl 9100 and i had to put a 100 dollar deposit to go on a contract which i did and i had a credit limit on my account. in a few month i have went through 4 replacements phones with were all software issues and when the 4th phone start giving me problems, i didn't wanna go through another replacement phone and i ask if there was a way i can upgrade to a different phone and was willing to put in money for maybe a blackberry bold 9700 or so but they wouldn't let me. they told me i can renew my contract and buy any phone for half price which i thought was not to reasonable since i am a rogers customer but i was desperate for a new phone so i went ahead and got myself a torch just a few months ago for 200 dollars and renew my contract.. ever since then now they keep disconnecting my phone when i am only a few days, not weeks or months but days past my bill and when i pay it off they don't even want to reconnect my phone until they can see the payment go through my account. one thing i didn't know before was that they took out my credit limit which i was comfortable working around and still have my security deposit which i was told by rogers themselves and every other company that after one year i would be able to get back my deposit which i didn't and its been way more then a year now. i cant take it anymore sorry if this is long but i just wanted to share my story and see if everyone agree or disagree with me in what i am trying to say. im happy with my phone but i am not happy with my service and now considering switching over

Sounds like you don't and your account has been flagged because of it.

I have to agree with this. Pay your bills on time and your "Issues" will resolve themselves.

I don't want to sound like an A-Hole here, but the reality is Corporations don't give a **** about our "Personal Issues". All they care about is the bottom line.

Your Bill is due on day X, pay it. If it's not paid deal with the consequences.

I agree that a few days may seem a little harsh but this is the world we live in.

Rogers provided you a service as per a contractual agreement which stipulates that payment is due on Day X. By not paying on time YOU are violating the contractual agreement. Not Rogers.

I definitely agree. Pay your bills on time and you might get better "service" from Rogers. I'm sure you're an adult, so you have to live up to your end of the contract i.e. pay.

I hate to kick the can further, but I hope the OP realizes that being late on his payments might also be reflected on his credit report. If you're having issues paying things on-time, that's a sign that you either really need to learn to budget or that you really can't afford having a BB. Having a BB is great, but it's not worth getting yourself into a financial hole over it.
