I put my previous plan up on Kijiji earlier yesterday and by this morning I had gotten rid of my previous # and line.
Yesterday I couldn't hold back and I went out to the least likely Rogers store to sell out of Z10's and picked one up for 139.99.
I had previously gotten a 9900 at the end of November as Rogers offered it to me for $0 on a 3 year. Being a fool I did it because it was free.
I needed to get rid of my phone and all I did was list everything that was included along with the price. Gave the away for free just did a contract takeover and am now happy with my new Z10.

Just a tidbit of info for anyone who's dying to get one....you have options!

Agree 100%, and for those who can't give up their number (mine is for business and on every piece f marketing I've ever sent out), you can buy the new z10 and pay the upgrade fee. Assuming the upgrade fee is under or around $200, you can then sell your old BB to ofset the cost.

My price for z10:
z10 - $190 (read below in my discounts)
Upgrade fee - $270
Total = $460

My discounts:
Phone rebate - $50 (brings cost of z10 to $140)
Sold old BB 9810 on kijiji - $150
Total = $200

Total cost of getting the new z10 = $260.

The phone itself costs $150, so $260 - $150 = an upgrade fee of $110.

For me, that was doable. If your early upgrade fee is anywhere around or less then $200 you'll pay very little if you sell your old phone on kijiji or wherever and use it to put towards the new phone. Assuming you have a semi-recent model phone.

Take into consideration the z10 costs $150 alone without any upgrade fees, the upgrade fee was $70 total.
