Text to iPod touch warning
My daughter found this out the hard way. One of her friends doesn't have a phone, but uses an iPod touch for texting. I'm not sure which app was being used, but the phone number was out of Michigan meaning unlimited texting didn't apply, and Canada to US text prices did. After calling Rogers to find out where these charges were from, she went through her contacts to find the number. It didn't show, and we are assuming it is the iPod she was texting. Needless to say my daughter's Boxing Day shopping $$ went on her phone bill. It was a hard lesson to learn, and we are trying to pass it along. As the iPods advance, they are almost an iPhone and with a wifi connection can do everything an iPhone can (including making calls with the right app).
I'm just posting this as an FYI.
