Default Tethering on BES

Well, I was on the 6 GB data plan and loved using tethering for data when waiting for flights, etc. Now, I have switched to my work BES plan (1GB) and was wondering - can I still get tethering at no extra charge?

The Rogers rep told me that you can't tether on BES ... in desktop manager I am able to click the button but get the "extra charges may be incurred" warning (which I also got with my BIS plan) but just want to make sure before I incur said charges.

Thanks for any clarification.

You should be fine to tether with a 1GB data plan. I'm not supposed to do it with my 500mb and they have never charged me for it. Just make sure to monitor you usage so you do not go over. Cause you will likely incur overage charges than.

I don't think Rogers charges for tethering on any of their data plans...

They just "recommend" you not to tether if you have a 1gb or less data plan
