AT&T device on rogers

Hello everyone

i got an AT&T torch when it first came out as i didnt want to wait for rogers to get their but in gear and release it...

anyways,,, just wondering if anyone has figured out how to get the 3G only setting in mobile network options? instead of just the at7t locked down version of 2G and 2G & 3G... i want to have the setting for just 3G as well...

anyone got any ideas?

i've been told there are some leaked OSs out there that enable it... anyone know which one?

There should be a 3g only option under mobile network options...

I have an AT&T Torch and I have that option. I'm running 6.0.0.448

by the way, that didnt work.... i tried for an entire day to get this to work... even worked with a hybrid builder to see if we can figure this out... so its a no go...

You would have to actually unbrand the phone to do this, which has not been possible since the bold 9000. OS installs won't do anything.
