student plan question

I just saw the student plan for rogers it ends 10/31/11 and it seems like its only for 5 phones that are listed there is that correct?

and will the bold 9900 be available with the student plans?

No, blackberrys require a data plan or BIS

I thought you could get blackberry with a socialnetworking plan?
I rmb my friend getting a blackberry bold 9700 last year when school started and his plan was 40 bucks with unlimted socialnetworking and so on

You can get the blackberry bold with that $40 social networking plan, but that is as cheap as it gets. You can add a student MSD to that account giving you free 6pm and a 1 yr subscription to Roger UrMusic. However, the student plan they advertise is essentially the regular $30 plan with the $10 100MB plan added on plus GRRF. That $10 100MB plan does not have a BIS option, therefore it will not work with blackberry.

But again, you can get something very similar in that $40 social networking plan, the only thing is, you wont get the 100MB.
