Default Rumor: 0S 6: Officially available for DL Jan. 12th, 2011

I've been having problems with my phone and wound up speaking to someone at the Rogers president's office. Anyway, he told me OS 6 download is coming for the Bold 9700 (and a few other devices) on January 12th, 2011.

I emailed them and was contacted by someone to later find out there went on holidays the next day till dec 1st. So I emailed them bach and it told me they would contact me within 24 hours. Well its been 72. So very frustrating

If this is true, this would be a nice late Christmas gift from Rogers I ever got. No more of them lame year subscriptions to magazines I've never heard of or cheap skins for your phone or ipod. Haha

I'm sure all this is nothing but a rumor. It is 230pm on Jan 12/11 and I have seen or heard anything new from Rogers. Thank god for the leaks.

OS 6 on an 8520? Really? That must just about eat up all of its onboard storage and bring the thing to a crawl.
With OS 5 installed, and 12 installed programs (leaving me 90 MB free), I find the 8520 has its laggy moments.
