    Default Rogers Talkspot

Since the 8900 supports UMA, I'm thinking of getting the Talkspot service to replace my land line. Is there any reason not to do so (i.e. dropped calls, etc)?

I find UMA very reliable, the only time I've had problems, is when it switches over to the EDGE network. For some reason it seems to drop calls, only when switching, and it's not something I do often enough to be problematic.

I've had no issues UMA other than occasionally dropping a call switch from WiFi to Network. However, those times are few and far between.

Talkspot is great and sounds much better than other voip companies ie. Vonage.

Talkspot is great I would recommend it definitely.

The only reason I don't have a talkspot plan is because the calls I make from home are usually during my free evenings and weekends. The people I call long distance to are in My5 CanadaWide, so I don't pay for those either... so a talkspot plan would just cost me extra for nothing gained.
