Default Rogers sold out of 9900s

Just got a call from the promo department seeing if I wanted to upgrade, but all they were offering was the 9810... "No 9900s" I asked? The response: "completely out of stock, sorry".

I would have thought more people were holding out for the QNX machines, but I guess not.

give them a call back and ask if you can get the device at a store and see if they will cover the difference. Many stores got large shipments of the 9900s today.

i upgraded over the phone with rogers last tuesday and am still waiting for my 9900 to ship 10 days later!!!!!

Ask for the 9810 for 99.00$ as a compromise for the 9900 that is out of stock i'm not sure if that will work but maybe you will get something good.. who knows.

I wouldnt even bother trying this at a store as they do not have the ability to play with prices. Customer service on the other hand may be able to credit you for the inconvenience.

Ya, I was pretty lucky to get mine eh. They had only one left and it was reserve for an employee, I guess paying customer have the right of way eh.

Funny thing is that I am both a customer and an employee for Rogers, considering I am a paying customer and I make them thousands of dollars a year it gives me every right to get one before you.

As for stock I am completely stocked with 9900's approx 25 units at my location.

hrmmmm i had IT determine my unit DOA and it's past the 30 day mark since i got it at the store..

i had JVM errors from the first day but i didn't want to go through the hassle of exchanging it..

my phone finally died and wouldn't turn on...

so they said DOA is possible since i reported it the first day.... Just got an update from Rogers saying that their 9900's are on Backorder!!!!

good for RIM i guess but i want my 9900 back!! i can't stand my 9700!! : <

I called rogers yesterday and asked if they got any in stock and the answear is still NO, i been waiting for mine for 2 weeks now since they told me they would send me one.

yea that happened to me a couple of weeks ago too. so i just went to the local bestbuy and picked one up. its still going to cost the same anyways. i still got my credit from customer service.
