Yes I checked that and it is set to NO and there is a tiny little red lock next to it. Therefore I cannot switch it to YES

I just updated my OS from .167 to .190. I thought that might fix my problem. Although I love the new OS, it did not fix the issue

Hi Matthew,

I have a Rogers plan with a new Bold (and new $30 Value Pack). I am also a member of the CFIB, and should be getting certain discounts, but they dont seem to be applied to my bill correctly.

Can you help me with this, or do I have to call someone in the Rogers Business division?

Try having your service books resent. Sounds kind of simple but it has worked for some!

I can help you with it. Just PM me your information, or email me: matthew.gip@mobilewireless.ca and we can discuss further.

How many rogers products do you have?
Are you on one of the select plans eligible for discount?

I ordered a Bold online and I sent it back unopened with tracking info and it shows that the phone was recieved back 2.5 months ago. I still haven't received my money back. Is there anything you can do for me? I tried calling CS but I keep getting the same reply, that they will send an email to someone else and that someone should get back to me but I haven't heard a word from anyone.
Thanks!

Hi Matthew

I am presently on a corporate plan with data (500mg) . The corporate department says i am eligble for an upgrade on Jan 5, and could get the bold for $199. What are the chances of me talking them down to $99 for an upgrade.

Honesly, zero, it depends who you call for support, do you actually have to speak with Rogers Business Support Group or another group?

If you speak with Rogers Business Support Group then you have no chance of further discounts, if you try to go through the normal customer service you may have a chance. Keep in mind that if your companies corporate account is supported by Rogers Business Support Group then the normal customer service will not be able to complete an upgrade for you.

I think it is time for you to move past customer service and speak with a manager, but not Retention as they won't be able to adjust this.

Is your device a Rogers Blackberry? Is it by chance still in warranty?

Even if it isn't in warranty try calling the data tech support and see what they say: 1-866-931-3282.

just asking for a personal opinion, i've been with rogers 16 year's, do you think i can talk them into giving me the 6gb for $30 data plan, even though it is expired, i'm sure retention can work something out to the same effect for me.... any professional opinions? i even have my cable service with rogers.

^Won't work, even if you beg retentions. Sorry~

Expired plan system codes will not be in the system anymore for the Reps to add on, so no matter if it's a retention rep or a normal rep. they will not be able to add the $30 6GB plan regardless if you're a 100 Year Rogers customer or not.
