Apparently you can. Check out this recent offering by Rogers:
your.rogers.com/business/wireless/services/secondvoicelineservice.asp

I recently got a cell phone from my employer for work, but had I known of this beforehand I would have chosen this option and have my work reimburse me monthly. I prefer to carry around one phone rather than two.

Sounds like you need to ADD a line to your account.

Yes, you can have two different phones, two numbers and two different plans on the same account.

I have two lines on the same account right now with my brother (and have been for the last 6 years)...up until september of 2010...we had two different plans as well. Now we have the same plan as I'm on retentions plan...he's got my plan for his iPhone.

It should be easy to add a second line to your account, just call rogers customer service or go into a rogers plus store.

what is the charge of adding a second line to my existing account? I would also most likely buying 2 new phones as well ... hopefully they can swing me a deal.

You can add a line for $10, but that's calling.
$25 for voice and data.
