Default ROGERS makes serious changes for the future

Rogers Wireless, one of Canada's leading service providers, is set to launch their LTE service in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and Ottawa very soon-sometime this year. What does this mean for you lucky Rogers customers? With this service, Rogers customers will have access to the following features:

Everyone will be able to watch streaming movies and live HDTV on their mobile devices, with crisp picture and virtually no buffering or delays
Friends and families can video chat seamlessly – as natural as talking on the phone, with virtually no lag time

Gamers can play their favourite multiplayer games from almost anywhere
Businesses can implement a truly mobile workforce that is both as efficient and secure as a traditional workplace
Also, customers will have another set of features:

With maximum download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 70 Mbps, how you use your mobile devices will change, and the boundaries of today will be replaced with endless possibilities.

As if that's not enough, Rogers plans to launch this service in an additional 21 markets by the end of 2012. So even if you don't live in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, or Vancouver, you won't have long to wait for LTE to come to your doorstep.

Speeds of up to 150 mbps? And with data plans capped at 6 gigs; you could really hit that quite fast. OK, I'm sure there will be no plans but just wait untill you see the price of them.

$70/month for 10GB only sounds about right when it comes to Rogers.

Well considering I have a 6gb data plan on my torch (the Iphone 6gb data plan offer), they can't cap me at 3gb's!

And don't forget that all that marvelous internet speed technology will most likely be limited by Rogers' "Fair Use Policy", which in other words will mean throttling, so we may very not be able to enjoy all that speed.
