Default Rogers Family plan Help

First of all id like to say im from alberta , and getting married in july.
So of course me and my fiance have been talking about getting "ONE"
plan to cut costs , just wondering what the best family plan you can get?
She is on bell right now and is willing to switch to rogers , I currently have
been using the same plan for about 6 years now .. 700 day time mins and evenings and weekends starting at 6pm ... with blackberry data and voice mail. all for a sum of approx 85 bucks a month.. hard plan to give up since i dont think its offered any longer. Can a person just add a phone and new number to the plan? what are my options? any advice is welcome.

thanks

I don't know what the price is like now, but my wife and I have the BB family plan. 400 shared daytime mins, early evenings and weekends starting at 6pm, each have our own my5, each have 500MB data, and each have VM, call display, call waiting etc. Comes out to about $115 a month for the plan for both phones. I think the price has gone up a bit, but considering we were paying $80 each per month before its saving us a bundle.

hate to be giving up my 700 day time mins! , going to look into seeing what
kind of deal they can give me on two new phones and seprate plans. ive been with rogers for a wihle , ive bought like 4 phones outright and yet to have a hardware upgrade , time for them to give something back or im gone.

I thought the same thing at first too. I don't know what your phone habits are like but when I sat down and looked at it the bulk of my phone time was with the same 3-4 numbers. I have been on this plan for 2yrs and have only gone over my minutes once or twice.

I had the same issue, I didn't want to give up all my minutes. I did some research and found out that Rogers offers unlimited local wifi calling for $10/month. Since I use about 600 minutes a month while at home or in the office (on wifi network), I switched to 200 minutes per month (plus double my minutes) and unlimited local wifi for an extra $10/month. Unlimited local wifi also brings my free evenings and weekends to start at 5pm. Check it out on their site.
