Not sure if they still do, but I read a few years ago that Verizon owned shares in Telus.

Our store has been getting alot of customers coming in saying there SIM card isnt working anymore. Most of the old ones are beginning to stop working. any SIM cards that begin with 893027203040 are too old. The new ones are 4000 rather than 3040 and dont say ATT on them.
If your phone ever says SIM REJECTED, take it to a Rogers store and get them to replace. It shouldnt cost you anything.Rogers Wireless Sales Consultant

i don't believe rogers is associated with att anymore. back in the day there were.
i think first it was Cantel then Cantel AT&T, Rogers Cantel AT&T, and Rogers AT&T Wireless and now its just rogers wireless. - 08-09-2008, 12:26 PM #13
depends on the error... some rogers stores will some wont... you can always call in and ask for a SIM to be shipped out... most agents know how lol

orly?
Thats good to know... I actually had to look at the numbers on my sim just to see how old it was... you know its bad when the four numbers following 3040 have mostly 0s.. at least i have a spare...
but to anyone who has ordered a phone directly from rogers, they sometimes forget to take the extra sim out of the box before they ship it... i think i had 2 extras at one point....
