Default Quick Question

Hi all,
I picked up a unlocked Bell Torch which I have been using for about 3 months now and it is working great and I love it.
After reading a few posts re APN I am now wondering about the APN settings that I have.
The APN settings say pda.bell.ca, is this something I should change and if I should what do I change it to? It is working fine on the Rogers network so far.

Thanks for any information on this.

I should also list the settings as they are now.

APN Settings Enabled (tick mark)
APN: pda.bell.ca
APN Authentication enabled (tick mark)
Username for APN: (nothing)
Password for APN: (nothing)

Thanks again

I was just making sure there was nothing I needed to do with the APN, if not than I will just leave it.
One thing I notice is that on my Rogers account it doesn't seem to know what phone I have and just show a generic.
thanks

It will not identify Bell devices IMEIs. So it will always just show a generic device unless you are using a Rogers device

The Rogers apn is internet.com. You will need this to be correct for tethering and any apps that need direct access to the internet, bypassing BIS.

One other question came to mind, when the time comes to upgrade the OS can I download from Rogers even though the phone is from Bell?
