    Default No Email

    Dear all,

Currently my 8310 is not downloading email, anybody else experiencing any problems? I am on the Rogers network.

I have three pop accounts and have had no problems downloading up until now.

I received a call during the afternoon and my screen froze as the phone was ringing. I had to take out the battery and put it back in to get the device working again.

The phone is working ok. I can send email, surf the net etc, but no checking of email. I have checked with my ISP and no problems there. I have made sure that data services are on. Also deleted and added one of the email account, just in case, and still nothing.

Anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?

    Thanks so much,
    Steve

I had this happen to me soon after I got my Rogers curve. Call CSR and tell them what the matter is- when it happened to me they asked me a few questions and then said they were going to re-register my phone and it wouldn't work for about an hour. Basically they "cancelled" my phone and then re-instated it. It's been working fine since then.

    you can try

    options--->advanced options--->host routing tables
hit the menu button and register

    then resend service books
give it a couple minutes then try again

Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.
I deleted all my email accounts and the added them again. It seems to be working ok at the moment.
I also have a second Blackberry on the Vodafone network in the UK, there are no problems with that one and here in Canada its hooking onto Rogers. So I guess it might have been a phone issue when it crashed.
    Oh well.

    All my best,
    Steve
