New Phone

Rogers is 'giving' me a new phone after 3(?) years. I already bought an unlocked 9780 long time ago but I guess I'll take it. I mean it would be a waste not to right?

-Torch or 9780 But
I have to add $100

and the following are 'free'
-BB 3520
-Samsung Captivate

Now I've seen the specs and the Captivate is leaps and bounds over powering them. So why are those particular BB not 'free'?

Also a friend on Fido can get a Nexus S for 'free' but for some reason Rogers is giving me the old Captivate when they also have that phone.

I'll ask them but anyone here got offered the Nexus S? Maybe I can make them offer me it. :>

i heard captivate has a battery life of half a day after.. 6 mnths (my buddy has it).... go figure.

I'd go Torch but I have never had an Android phone so I can't compare.

I used to have an iPhone for personal and Curve for work and once the Torch came out I got rid of the iPhone after playing with the Torch's browser (1000% better then old BB browsers).
